# Extender Pro Custom Hook Blocks

#### What Are Custom Hook Blocks?

Custom Hook Blocks are powerful and flexible solutions for adding custom Extender Blocks to various locations on the front-end of your site using your Theme Framework's action hooks.

#### How To Create A Custom Hook Block

To create a new Custom Hook Block just click the "Add" button at the top-right, give your new Hook Block a name, select the Extender Block you want to display, and then select the Hook Location to display your Extender Block. You can also conditionally display your Extender Block using [Custom Conditionals](https://docs.cobaltapps.com/articles/extender-pro-custom-conditionals/), select a different Hook Priority from the default "10", and change the Status of your Hook Block.
